9 European Summer Holidays for under £50 a day

The year is 2019, robot servants called Alexa and Siri are answering our every command, Brexit is confusing the hell out of everyone and nobody really understands what’s going on. Everyone is hoping that Summer 2019 will be just as hot and careless as the few weeks of the World Cup last year.

Whilst there won’t be a Summer World Cup for quite a while, the idea of baking in the sun isn’t quite as impossible. We’re all aware that Brexit may impact future trip costs, so it’s time to take full advantage of Summer deals before the effects of uncertainty take place.

There are plenty of places to travel to in 2019, with Ryanair’s £5 flights still in full tow, here’s some travel inspo to find something to suit your holiday wishes.

Club Esse Cala Gonone Beach Village is one to keep an eye on. With a sea view, decent sized pool and that rustic Italian look: Sardinia is one of the cheapest options in Italy for the Summer without compromising on the location.

Pomorie, Bulgaria

Bulgaria is supposed to be the next big thing for the party culture and whilst the prices are low, it’s worth taking advantage of! This 4* hotel in Pomorie has the beach front that you’ve always wanted and doesn’t do bad on the price either! For ujust over £50 a day, you’re offered an all inclusive package- that’s right- no extra or hidden costs when you’re there!

Santorini, Greece

Santorini is one of the most expensive places to visit in Greece and with the white washed walls and gorgeous views, it’s easy to understand why! The hotel may only be 2*, but the price of Hotel Perissa is hard to shy away from!

Zadar, Croatia

Since the release of Games of Thrones, Croatia has been on everyone’s bucketlist across the world. Villa Plat is a 3* answer to the exponential costs of holidaying in such a beautiful location, with only a few minutes walk from the sea and links to nearby towns it’s got to be worth it!

Polis, Cyprus

Cyprus again, is becoming a evermore popular holiday destination: it’s difficult to find that balance between budget and the hotel from The Inbetweeners. Usually, Thomas Cook struggle with budget holidays, but occasionally they do uncover some hidden gems. The Bougainvillea Hotel Apartments comes with flights, transfers and everything that you need for the peace of mind that your holiday will be stress-free!

Gran Canaria, Spain

If you’re the kind of person that can’t stand the idea of sitting around a pool for a week with nothing else to do, why not try the stunning town of Villamoura? Home to some of the most expensive hotels in Portugal, it really does boast ‘the best of the best’ on each street corner. The Old Village Apartments are the budget answer to the celeb’s location of choice, but what you’ll save on the hotel you’d better save towards spending in the town!

Kalkan, Turkey

Saving the best until last, here is the ultimate affordable-luxury holiday and with Turkey climbing the ranks of holiday destinations once more, it’s one to get under your belt before prices soar back up! Kalamar Hotel may be set in a small village but with a view you’ll never forget: complete with an infinity pool and jacuzzi, it looks like a holiday you’ll never forget!
